If there's one thing Klaus knows how to prove, it's that he's his own worst enemy on The Originals.

New Photo Shows Klaus Getting Ready To Fight On 'The Originals' 

While some of the drama's villains are just downright unforgiving, many of Klaus' personal enemies, such as Davina (Daniel Campbell) and even his own brother Kol (Daniel Sharman), came to despise him because he chose to fight them with brutality instead of trying to win them over.

"Don't you get it?" warned Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) earlier in the season when Klaus wanted to rip her then-fiancé, Jackson (Nathan Parsons), to shreds. "You're the threat."

A Battle Between Klaus & The Witches Brews On 'The Originals' 

Klaus has a tendency to create enemies where he could have had allies, and Hayley might just be next on that list. Mother to his daughter, Hope, Hayley has been fighting a lot with Klaus over the last few episodes. She even had to come in and protect Jackson from the murderous hybrid, who believes no one can be trusted with the safety of his child.

So will Klaus finally murder Jackson? And could Hayley ever forgive him if he did? Parsons is still listed as a guest star instead of a regular on the series, which doesn't bode well for his longevity. He's also set to star in his own series soon, which could mean he might have to eventually cut ties with The CW drama.

As for Hayley, her loyalty to the wolves runs deep and such a betrayal by Klaus would likely be beyond forgiving.

The Originals will return on The CW for the remainder of its second season Monday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
