If the criticisms concerning the news he and his first wife, Meri, divorced only for him to legally remarry fourth wife Robyn three months later weren't enough, it appears that Sister Wives star Kody Brown is now also receiving critiques about being a good parent to his kids.

Meri Reveals Intention To Divorce Kody

According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, the most recent episode of the series seemed to address for the first time the topic of whether or not Kody preferred to spend more time with sons than his daughters-and the possibility that he also favored them over the others as well.

During the episode, the anthropology students who were studying the family, suggested that Brown spent more time with his sons overall-and in particular, his youngest, Solomon, who is his only biological child with Robyn.

'Sister Wives' Renewed For Sixth Season

However, the family has since fought back against the allegations on social media-with Kody and Janelle both defending his skills as a parent and refuting the claims he wasn't spending equal time with them all.

Kody made a comment that he made time for other sons besides Solomon, by specifically mentioning Hunter in a tweet.

Janelle meanwhile, specifically tackled the claims he wasn't spending time with his daughters, saying she genuinely believed he was a good father to all of her children.

Overall, Kody does have 17 children with his four wives. Kody and Meri are the parents to a daughter, Mariah. Janelle and Kody have six children-Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel and Savanah; Third wife Christine and Kody also have six children-Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truly; and he and Robyn have Solomon together. Robyn also has her three additional children, Dayton, Aurora and Breanna, from her previous marriage.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
