It looks like Pippa Middleton's private buying habits might not be so private after all.

Pippa Middleton The Best Aunt Ever?

On March 7 the Daily Mail reported that retail giant Amazon offers up the wish list information of its users.

Apparently Pippa Middleton, sister to Princess Kate, is one such famed user to have her personal tastes shared with other consumers. According to the Daily Mail, Pippa put two geography textbooks on her Amazon wish list when she was studying English Literature at Edinburgh in June 2006.

Will Pippa Middleton & Nico Jackson Tie The Knot?

Though the violation of privacy might seem comparable to hacking, there seems to be no legal conflict here. Apparently it is possible for Amazon users to adjust privacy settings to avoid making this kind of information public, though some have argued that it is not as easily done as the site would lead consumers to believe. The icons are small and could be seen as misleading.

In addition to Pippa's browsing history, Amazon also allegedly has available information on her mother, Carole. The Daily Mail wrote that Carole searched a number of gardening books with a focus on the planting of vegetables.

Pippa is currently pursuing a career in journalism and is also helming a number of successful businesses. She is one of the wealthiest members of her family, which says a lot given the fact that her sister is a princess and her parents are self-made millionaires.

At this time, neither Pippa nor Carole Middleton have publicly addressed the Amazon claims.
