Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin might be one of the most popular celebrity couples, but they manage to keep their romance between them.

Phoebe Tonkin Says Paul Wesley Is Her 'Best Friend'

On Friday, Wetpaint posted details from Tonkin's interview with Elle Australia who mentioned how she tries to keep her love life to herself.

"I definitely try not to put too much about my personal life but the other side of that is that I'm 25, and sometimes I'm happy and I want to share photos in the same way that all my other friends who are at uni or working in Sydney do," the Aussie actress said.

The Originals star then revealed something that once frightened her more than anything else.

"My biggest fear was that I was too ordinary," she said.

Tonkin previously told Elle Canada that she and her Vampire Diaries boyfriend are doing splendidly at this point in their lives.

"He's my best friend," the actress said. "It's such a fun time in my life right now; it's nice to have someone to share all that with."

Tonkin also dished on living in Los Angeles what it's like working on a popular television show. As it turns out, being in a show is pretty much the same as working on any other job.

"TV is a lot like having an office job: same crew, same people every day- it's like a family," she explained. "I didn't move here to be on a job for three months and then sit around reading scripts and drinking coffee in LA the rest of the time. The quality of TV is so great now, and you get to do what you love every day. It's the closest thing to having a normal job."
