Only rapper Nicki Minaj has spoken out following speculation she said she still loved her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels amid her new relationship with rapper Meek Mill.

She posted a series of tweets Monday and set the record straight.

"If I wanted to start confessing my love to an Ex, I'd call or text. Social media isn't the place. Hate addressing this stuff. Please stop. I know you mean well, thank you for the well wishes but creating fictional stories out of a couple tweets for a juicy story isn't journalism. Facts only. Or ima b waiting 4 u at da dough loveeeeee uuuuuuuuu".

The rapper's tweets have been deleted. See them over at The Shade Room. Still, they come just a couple of days after Minaj and Samuels seemed to send each other subliminal and emotional messages via Twitter.  Samuels kicked it off and wrote, "im not gonna front like i dnt kno wat today woulda been I hope ur happy and wish u nothing but the best..luv u 4ever. no love lost." Minaj then tweeted, "I'll always love you...Please stop".

Rumor has it that the tweets came on what would have been the couple's 11th anniversary.

While it's not clear if Samuels' tweets were about Minaj, it does look like she's found happiness with her new beau Meek Mill.

She recently gushed about dating him in an interview with BBC Radio.

"I mean you know, we're just super compatible. And you know we just be having fun together. You know how that go...When the kid do it the kid get it done, you know what I mean?"
