More than 200 marriage proposals have poured in after a Hong Kong business tycoon offered $65 million to any man who could convince his daughter to marry him.

Cecil Chao Sze-tsung is looking for a husband for his daughter, Gigi Chao, who reports say is a lesbian who has already wed her long-term female partner, Sean Eav, according to The New York Times.

Chao's father told The China Post he had gotten 100 offers from potential suitors as of Wednesday, and that number has since doubled.

But Chao is against the idea and took to her Facebook profile to publicly tell her father to stop searching for a husband for her.

"For your family's sanity's sake, daddy, please rescind the notice!" the 22-year-old wrote.

Choa is a well-known socialite in Hong Kong, and though it has long been speculated that she is a lesbian, she has not publicly confirmed her sexual orientation or her relationship with Eav.

"I'm not afraid to admit anything. But I do want to respect my parents," she said.

On her Facebook profile, Chao describes herself as "a woman that cares to look another in the eye and seek what's behind."

Despite his daughter's requests to stop the $65 million search, Chao's father said he is still fielding communications from men who want the chance to meet Chao and secure the "marriage bounty."

"People send me letters, emails and faxes. I haven't had time to read them yet. I'll have to discuss it with Gigi," he said. "There are some who said they don't want the money, only the chance to know my daughter."

Chao's father isn't being very specific in what type of man he's looking for. His ad seeking a husband for his daughter said he only wants someone who can win her heart.

"I don't mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted," he said.
