Chelsea vs FC Nordsjaelland takes place in Group E in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Chelsea will see this game as a must-win following their opening match draw against Juventus. Daniel Sturridge is set to miss out on tonight's game with a hamstring injury, however, Chelsea manager Roberto Do Matteo will be seeing the Blue's Champions League defense as the priority this year, and he will likely field a strong side.

That means Fernando Torres is almost certain to be in the starting line up. Torres has started every single Chelsea match this season so far, and some had thought he would be rested tonight against the Danish opposition. However, it is likely now that he will be included in the starting eleven.

Frank Lampard is also due to return to the side having missed the last three matches.

Di Matteo has said ahead of the game, "It'll be a strong team. There might be a couple of changes, because we played a very intense game on Saturday. A win would certainly help, and that's what we're aiming for," according to BBC Sport.

Some have questioned whether Lampard's career was coming to an end seeing as he has been increasingly left out of Di Matteo's starting 11. However, the Chelsea boss insisted that the midfielder's Chelsea future remained "very strong."

"He's a very important player for us," he added. "I've had conversations with him, yeah, which I do on a regular basis with the players. I like to exchange opinions. He's very supportive of the team when he's not in the team. When he's in the team, he's a great performer as well."
