The South may rise again with the newest reality show set to focus on some of those who live there, with the premiere of Vh1's upcoming Hot Grits.

The show, focusing on the lives of seven female friends living in Valdosta, Georgia, premieres March 25, and will showcase the women as they deal with their romance lives and the struggles of growing up and deciding if small-town life is still for them.

So who are these Grits (Girls Raised In The South)?

Bear

A model, drift racer, doting wife and party girl with a big problem-her husband of two years, Lion, still hasn't told his parents that they're married-and it's ripping them apart.

Emily

Emily has a taste for the finer things in life-and small-town life in Valdosta is proving to be too boring for her. A move to Jacksonville could be in the works for her.

Hailey

Hailey might be a small town girl, but she's never allowed herself to seem too country and won't leave the house looking anything but her best. And after her history with Sarah starts to boil over, the tension between the two could cause some major rifts within the group.

Jenna

Jenna is comfortable both dressed to the nines and hanging out at the firing range, and though she tries to always play nice, she won't hesitate to talk trash when it's necessary.

Ratchet

Ratchet is a true country girl with a love for fishing, getting her hands dirty, and having a good time at the bar-and unlike those around her, she tries her best to be entirely drama-free.

Sarah

Sarah is surrounded by problems-her ex-boyfriend just won't leave her house, and her impulsive behaviors and lack of ability to think before she speaks always brings some major drama into her life.

Jennifer

Jennifer is somewhat of the mother hen of the group, who is also about to become a mother. But though her pregnancy is keeping her from the wilder nights out with the girls, and she's being kept away from most of the drama, it doesn't mean she's not going to be in the middle of some of the worst situations.

Hot Grits premieres Wednesday, March 25 at 8 p.m. on Vh1.
