She was so close to finally completing the mission she was sent to complete in Salem, but now, Serena (Melissa Archer) will have to worry about Nicole (Arianne Zucker) figuring out what she is actually up to on Days of Our Lives.

Serena Tries Figuring Out Who Has The Statue

After nosing around and attempting to dig up dirt on Serena cost Nicole Daniel's (Shawn Christian) trust, she swore off investigating Eric's (Greg Vaughan) new girlfriend, and changed her focus to trying to win Daniel back. She had successfully convinced him to allow her to go to his apartment to make them lunch one day, something she was doing-when Serena snuck into the apartment to switch the elephant statues.

Nicole's appearance however had startled Serena, and her switch failed, as she still walked away with her version that did not contain a secret compartment. And after Nicole mentioned something to Daniel about his two statues and he said he only had one, Nicole became suspicious.

Serena Is Pushed To Extreme Measures

Now, Serena is racing against time to get the statues switched before her mysterious boss shows up to harm Eric as a warning to her-but Nicole's suspicions will cause her to start asking questions-and she could stumble across Serena's real goal of switching the statues-though she still won't be able to place her finger on why.

As a result, Serena will need to figure out how to do some damage control, in order to keep Nicole from not only learning the truth, but from sharing what Serena is after with Daniel, or worse, Eric, and exposing her for the fraud she just may be.
