In an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Salma Hayek claimed she is fortunate to have found work as an actress since she has so many flaws.

"I have an accent, am dyslexic, short and chubby," the actress said in the magazine's November issue, according to Celebuzz.com. "You name it, I have it, but I am here. I must be the luckiest girl in the world to be working."

The successful 46-year-old actress with a booming career  just starred in the film "Savages." Unlike many Hollywood celebrities, Hayek admitted that she doesn't believe in plastic surgery.

In a 2011 interview with People magazine, she said, "It's like the uniform of a generation. And it's not necessarily beautiful. It's not wrinkled-looking, but it's not beautiful."

Seems like her views haven't changed much. During her interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, she explained how she thinks society's beauty standards are warped and, even though she knows her body doesn't fulfill Hollywood standards, she refuses to starve herself.

"In recent years, we have had to fight against our genetic nature to look like little boys, to be socially accepted as beautiful," she said. "It used to be that a young girl couldn't wait to grow up and take the shape of a woman. Now our goal is regression, to look younger and like a child. There has not been enough diversity of boy shape in fashion."

Although she loves fashion, Hayek is not a slave to it. In a 2011 interview with Redbook, she proclaimed, "I'm nobody's Barbie."

In her latest interview, she said, "I am on the limit of chubbiness because I love my food and my wine. It's not the best for fashion, but it's good for my mood. I am happy because I eat.... The truth is I just don't have the drive to be the prettiest and the thinnest."
