The preview of the upcoming episode of season 10 of Criminal Minds was recently unveiled and it shows Dr. Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) taking interest in a new lady character.

Ed Asner To Guest Star As Hotch's Father-in-Law

In the sneak peek, audiences are introduced to Agent Dorian Loker (Emily Churchill) who will be assisting Reid in surveillance. Reid seems to be taken by Loker as both of them speak Russian, and probably share that heritage. He also takes an interest in what she is reading as he tried to talk Dickens with her, she has only just started reading Great Expectations. The interaction between them is funny and awkward. Loker seems a touch more domineering, as Reid is tryign to make conversation.

In other recent news, the official synopsis for the Criminal Minds spin-off pilot episode, aptly titled Beyond Borders, was revealed. The BAU assists the International Unit on a case in Barbados. Gary Sinise is set to star as Unit Chief Jack Garrett.

Here's the official synopsis:

"When a family of four is abducted while on vacation in Barbados, the BAU is called to assist Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Sinise) and his International Unit on their investigation. Garrett and his unit, the FBI's top division for handling cases involving Americans abroad, work jointly with Hotch and his team when they discover that this case matches one the BAU investigated last year in Florida."
