Details continue to unfold regarding the recent sex tape of wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan. While making an Oct. 9 appearance on "The Howard Stern Show," the 59-year-old confirmed the identity of his partner in the sexual lock: Heather Clem, the 38-year-old ex-wife of his friend and radio host Bubba the Love Sponge.

The Hulkster (real name: Terry Bollea) told the radio host that he'd been chatting with his buddy about bedding Clem for years, despite still being married at the time to his then wife, Linda Hogan.

"I considered both people close friends, there was ongoing dialogue over two years about this. It was almost to a point of being funny," Hogan said, then admitting that he made the decision to go through with it when "I knew my marriage was really screwed up bad."

However, he did tell Stern that he's "devastated" over the internet posting of the sex tape, which was made six years ago.

Hogan is planning to sue Gawker, the online site that put up clips of the x-rated footage. His attorney, David Houston, told E! News that "We are in the process of reporting everything to law enforcement."

Houston also added that he's planning on filing a federal civil suit in Tampa, Fla., against the site.

While mainly on the show to promote TNA Wrestling's upcoming pay per view event,  "Bound For Glory," the well-known grappler also addressed the sticky situation to "Today Show" hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb in a recent appearance, saying that he wasn't aware he was being recorded.

"First off, I had no idea there was a camera in the room. It was at a very, very low point. I'm not making excuses. I'm accountable. I was the guy. I was there. I made the choice," he said,

Hogan, who had been married to first wife Linda for 25 years, tied the knot with Jennifer McDaniel in 2010. He said that his current beau is "rattled" over the x-rated footage.

"She's not part of this media life or anything, and it's something that's devastated me totally and I've never been on something on this level," he said.

Hogan said he was also was concerned for his two children Brooke, 24, and Nick, 22, who he said have so far been "fine" amid the unideal circumstances.
