'NCIS: LA' Season 6: Filming For Season 7 Premiere Scheduled, Is A Renewal Imminent?

The CBS drama filmed the deadly scene on Monday, staging a mini protest near the corner of Pico Blvd. and Westchester Place to act as the scene of the crime. Penned by Gil Grant and directed by Robert Florio, episode 22 punctuated the second to last day of filming with gunshots and emergency vehicles.

Chris O'Donnell (Callen) was seen on the set in the late afternoon, his character possibly sent by Hetty (Linda Hunt) to investigate the apparent murder.

The episode will serve as the first of season 6's three-part finale. Using Diane Valentine's "Beacon" to set up the multi-part story, the Office of Special Projects team will head into the last installment of the season with what appears to be the biggest mystery of the year.

While viewers await the final arc, NCIS: LA will return on April 13 with "Rage." The upcoming story will probe Callen's past and expose his first meeting with Hetty while also sending him undercover with Kensi as his tattooed, biker girlfriend. Click the video below to see a preview.
