‘Jurassic Park 4’ Spoilers: Chris Pratt’s Owen Flirts With Claire In New ‘Jurassic World’ Clip [VIDEO]

The first official scene from Jurassic World was revealed exclusively via MTV and it shows some romantic tug-and-pull between Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard).

Jurassic World Opens 'A Whole New Frontier,' Reveals New Still 

Claire, who works for the owner of Jurassic Park, Simon Masrani, approaches Owen - who works with the raptors on the park - to help out with a new exhibit that is set to open in a few weeks. She says that Mr. Masrani has asked her to consult with him. Owen flirtatiously asks her if she wants to consult out in the open or in his bungalow. Claire ignores his teasing and gets down to business asking him to check the paddock for vulnerabilities.

As Owen asks why him, Claire suggests that as he is able to control the raptors he might have a better hold on the situation. Owen takes issue with using the word control, and sets off on an enlightening discourse about how he essentially nurtures a relationship with the beasts, "based on mutual respect." He goes on to take a jab at her mocking her idea of their first date, which included an itinerary and a diet that does not allow for tequila. The interaction between the two is mostly funny. When she gets back to wanting to talk about the "assets" he reminds her that that's a misleading term to use for these animals, as they are essentially living beings and not "numbers on a spreadsheet."

Jurassic World has been directed by Colin Trevorrow, and also stars Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer and Jake Johnson.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
