A year after TLC canceled her reality show, "Kate Plus 8," Kate Gosselin was fired from her next job.

Gosselin has been fired by CouponCabin, a money-saving website, after blogging for the company for only 11 months. The reality TV star was a celebrity contributor to the coupon-clipping website but they said she was not "a good fit."

Coupon Cabin's founder and CEO, Scott Kluth, made the announcement in an open letter on his company's website on Tuesday. Oct. 16.

"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at Coupon Cabin," Kluth wrote. "It's with this that I am writing to inform you of our decision to discontinue Ms. Gosselin's feature blog on CouponCabin.com. We wish Kate, her family and her support staff all the best."

Gosselin, 37, who wrote a feature blog where she shared her tips on how to shop wisely through money-saving advice, posted a tweet to her followers that made her appear unfazed by the dismissal.

"Good afternoon! I'm alive! I've been super busy working away! I'm having lots of fun and can't wait to share! No worries..we will chat soon! XO," tweeted Gosselin.

According to a report, Gosselin was released from the gig because she was "difficult to work with, often making outrageous demands and just didn't fit in with the company as a whole."

A source told Radar Online that "Kate thought that because she was a celebrity she could do or write whatever she wanted, but that's not the way it works."

Gosselin's TLC reality show "Kate Plus 8" was canceled in September 2011. At the time, the mother-of-eight expressed her concerns about her financial future to People magazine.

The former nurse admitted that she was "freaking out. Big time."

"My kids weren't ready," she said. "Nobody was. I've never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. This has been ended for me on a moment's notice. I don't know what's next."

Prior to landing the CouponCabin job, she told the magazine that she would return to her career in nursing.

"People think we made gazillions of dollars, and we didn't. After the show was canceled, I said, 'I'll go back to my old nursing job.' If nothing comes up, I'll do it," she said.
