Will 'Southern Charm' Be Cancelled After Season Two?

After rumors began swirling regarding the possible cancellation of the Bravo reality series after its second season, Monday night's numbers were released, and showed a positive turn for the show.

"This week’s episode of Bravo TV’s Charleston, S.C.-based reality show Southern Charm drew 944,000 viewers – its best ratings performance of the current season and its largest audience since 2014’s season finale," FIT News reported on Wednesday.

According to the report, Southern Charm season 1 drew between 710,000 and 1.21 million viewers per episode, and Southern Charm's second season has drawn between 869,000 and 910,000 viewers per week so far.

Before the ratings for Monday night's episode were calculated, a source claimed Southern Charm could be on the verge of cancellation, after their ratings began to slide.

"The Thomas Ravenel, Kathryn Dennis breakup later this season will lift ratings. But that may not be enough," LALATE reported on Tuesday. "In their last three weeks, Southern Charm’s ratings have progressively gotten worse. Two weeks ago, Shahs of Sunset’s ratings rose to a 1.139, but Southern Charm’s ratings got worse compared to its previously week. That night, Charm delivered a 0.869 ratings share."

Southern Charm season 2 airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. on Bravo. On next week's episode, fans will see a dramatic enterance by Ravenel and Dennis, who have had their ups and downs throughout the season.
