They aren't the only members of the original Full House cast who haven't officially signed on to the new reboot series, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are certainly the ones fans are most interested in seeing come back to the show that made them stars.

5 Things We Hope To See In A 'Full House' Reboot

Thankfully, fans can be assured there is actually a chance the famous twins (who have since moved on to being business magnates) would consider reprising their once shared role as Michelle Tanner, not that they're aware the project is being given the official greenlight.

"We just found out about it today," Mary-Kate said in an interview with Women's Wear Daily. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."

'Fuller House' Confirmed

The sisters admitted they were shocked they hadn't heard anything before the announcement was made, but also didn't rule out the possibility of coming back.

"I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn't even talk about it," Ashley said. "I'm going to call [Saget] and get his perspective."

However, the idea of the twins both reprising the role is something that could cause a problem. They took turns playing the role of the youngest Tanner child in the past--but getting older has shown visible differences in the two women's faces and overall looks--meaning it wouldn't make sense for the plot if they both played Michelle now.

It is currently unclear how negotiations will unfold for the two.
