One actress from the hit ABC series "Grey's Anatomy" revealed that viewers should expect to see "a very rich dilemma" unfold between two characters, and already we are getting a glimpse of that in the past two episodes that aired as part of season nine.

Jessica Capshaw, who playes Arizona on the show, told The Hollywood Reporter that it will be "a very complicated reckoning" between her and her partner on the show Callie. We saw in the first two episodes the state of depression Arizona was in after her leg was amputated because of too many damages suffered from last season's plane crash. She then held Callie responsible for the aftermath because she is the one who performed the amputation, even though Arizona made her promise that she would not perform the operation.

"[Arizona] sees Callie as her guardian. It's really hard: the worst thing thing that's ever happened to this woman... come as the hands of the person that's supposed to be the best thing in her life," Capshaw said. "That's a very rich dilemma. The story is going to be about how to come to terms with that and how to figure that out."

"Arizona definitely sees herself as a victim in this. This happened to her, she didn't do anything to make this happen," she added.

When Sara Ramirez (Callie) spoke to the site about her character's strained relationship with Arizona, she did say that she hopes fans "will continue on this journey with us, because it's definitely going to be an intense one."

This season, Callie will also face troubles as Derek Shepard's friend. Performing the operation on McDreamy's hand after it was badily injured in last season's plane crash, she will throughout the episodes help Derek try to be a surgeon again, or at least cope with what is left of his career.

We already saw Derek this season throw a tantrum in front of Callie after his hand turned numb in middle of a major surgery. His inability to be the legend he once was in the operating room will also put a strain on his marriage to Meredith.
