Bruce's parents were murdered in the first episode of Gotham and this will be bookended in the season 1 finale by the young billionaire learning a big secret.

Gotham executive producer Bruno Heller spoke with Entertainment Weekly and teased some hypotheticals about the finale regarding Bruce.

"He's going to find the biggest clue of all," Heller said. "There's going to be a huge discovery. What could he possibly discover at this point in his life? What could he and Alfred find out about the family and where they live and the future? That's what we're going to discover in this last episode. It's a huge reveal."

In the mean time, the show is focusing on Jason, a.k.a. the Ogre (guest star Milo Ventimiglia). In the second to last episode of the season, which airs Monday night, Jason begins to have feelings for Barbara (Erin Richards).

"I was pretending with you, but not in the way you think," he says in the episode, as seen in a new sneak peek of the episode. "The night we met, I was going to kill you. ... But then I saw something in you, Barbara. I saw the real you. You are the woman that I have been searching for."

It remains to be seen what will become of Barbara, though a simple look at Twitter reveals that many fans would like her to be killed off.

Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
