Shields and her pro dancing partner Mark Ballas had several standout performances during their stint on the show. One of the more particularly inspired ones was the Hunger Games-themed dance, which scored them a 39 out of 40.

When Glamour mentioned the idea of Ballas deserving to win an Emmy for his choreography this season, Shields was very positive about the idea.

"He does, doesn't he?!" she replied.

Meanwhile, Ballas said that he was touched by the compliment, quipping, "That would make up for getting voted off!"

The pro dancer is still proud of the work her and Shields did over the course of the season, admitting that he did want to win the trophy at the end.

"I would have loved to have [gotten] a third Mirrorball trophy, [as] I don't think I'll be getting another one anytime soon, but the important thing is, the work lives forever," he said.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
