Coming off of an impressive victory against the Houston Texans in Week 6, the Green Bay Packers (3-3) will look to continue their positive momentum when they face off against the St. Louis Rams (3-3) at the Edward Jones Dome in Week 7 of NFL football action on Sunday. After their biggest win of the season, the Packers will look to gain back-to-back victories. Green Bay is looking to end a three-game road skid by taking out the Rams before returning to Lambeau Field.

After previously falling short of expectations, QB Aaron Rogers silenced his critics by throwing for six touchdowns and 338 yards against the Houston Texans. To top it off, Green Bay's offense put up a massive 42 points while compiling 427 yards. However, the Packers will face a challenge in the Rams' pass defense, as they are ranked fifth in the league.

Packers running back Alex Green, who came on to replace the injured Cedric Benson (foot), has provided a much-needed rushing attack to Rogers' offense. In the process, Green has earned both the confidence and praise of Coach Mike McCarthy and a second consecutive start.

On the defensive side of the football for Green Bay, the situation is less than ideal with three of their starters out due to injury; inside linebacker D.J. Smith (knee), outside linebacker Nick Perry (knee), and cornerback Sam Shields (shin). Four-year veteran Brad Jones will more than likely fill in for Smith while 2011 starter Erik Walden should take over for Perry. Casey Heyward, who had two picks in Week 6, will get the start in place of the injured Shields.
