According to the site, while there has been a lot of discussion about the series upcoming season, the new deal has sparked a lot of questions about the possibility of a Walking Dead movie in the future, however there's been no discussion about a movie project just yet.

While Kirkman has yet to dish on the film project, in a recent interview with the Inquisitr, Andrew Lincoln, who plays the role of Rick Grimes, thinks the film is an excellent idea.

Two New Characters reportedly Joining 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Cast

"That would be amazing. It's something we've been talking about and dreamt of because it would be cool to see some snow. We were all going, just not to have to film in Atlanta where it gets to 100 degrees," Lincoln joked.

The actor also believes that the movie could take the show to an entirely new level.

"What would be amazing is that you can play with form, time and chronology and maybe also rediscover characters who are no longer in the show. Certainly, with that format, you can do something very interesting and ambitious."

Be sure to tune in for more updates on the cast and the show including when season 6 will return and if there will be a Walking Dead movie.
