The story of Emily Thorne will come to an end with "Two Graves," Entertainment Weekly announced on Wednesday.

For those following ABC's primetime soap-esque drama, the news comes as no surprise. With Victoria in the ground and Emily/Amanda poised to answer for her crimes, it appears the series has run out of story.

'Revenge' Season 4 Spoilers: Major Finale Death Revealed? Call Sheet Indicates Shocking Demise

"We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story," showrunner Sunil Nayar informed the site. "We've been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. Now that everybody has seen the finale-which is fabulous-everybody understands that as much as we all adore the show, it has hit exactly the mark it needed to to end."

Don't worry fans, it's not your lack of support that is to blame for the series' early demise. Instead of stringing along a story that had come to a natural end, it appears the network opted for quality over quantity.

"Two Graves" will air on May 10 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
