Talk about a crowd! Apparently, Kate Gosselin can't hire a decent babysitter these days as she reportedly took all eight of her children on her romantic geteaway with her rumored beau, Steve Neild.

According to In Touch Weekly on Friday, the Gosselin clan went on a week-long stay to sunny Mexico to celebrate their mother's 40th birthday, along with her on-again, off-again bodyguard boyfriend.

The site said that Gosselin recently confirmed that she went on her tropical getaway with her children, but made no comments about bringing Neild.

Meanwhile, Gosselin has been working hard these days to dispel rumors that she's an evil cold-hearted woman who is both fame and money hungry.

In a new interview with In Touch Weekly's print edition last week (via E! Online), Gosselin says that the media has it wrong when it comes to her personality and that she's not as "cruel" as some people make her out to be.

She said in an interview with the magazine, "People think I'm mean and b----y. but I'm actually laidback and I don't have an ego!"

Gosselin separated from her ex-husband Jon Gosselin back in 2010, before finalizing their divorce in 2011. Even though they are barely on speaking terms, the ex-couple co-parent their eight children together.
