In a recent interview showrunner Marc Guggenheim spoke about the finale, entitled 'My Name is Oliver Queen,' of season 3 of Arrow and fans should prepare for a neat conclusion this time around.

'Evil Oliver' Is 'Going Out Fighting' In Finale, Stephen Amell Teases

Hypable reported that there would be no cliffhanger on this one, and Guggenheim stated that it would be a "very definitive" finale. "The season 3 finale of Arrow is very definitive. It really feels like the end, not just of season 3, but of the first three seasons," Guggenheim said.

Fans can also look forward to an extra edge. Guggenheim revealed that the finale had been extended by 2 minutes and 33 seconds.

Could Ra's al Ghul Die In The Season 3 Finale Of Arrow?

The showrunner spoke about the focus of the finale, very evidently stated in the title, being Oliver's reclamation of his identity.

"We've always said the season is about identity, and Oliver trying to decide between being the Arrow and being Oliver Queen," Guggenheim said. "That's obviously very present, as the title suggests, in the finale. Oliver's arc over the course of the last episodes of the season relates to this question of 'am I Oliver, or am I the Arrow?' [It's] very focused on that threesome."

Judging by the recently released preview, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) will be duelling again, and this might be Oliver's ultimate chance at redemption and avenging his defeat.

In the clip, Oliver also thunders, reclaiming his identity as he takes his sword out of his sheath, letting Ra's al Ghul know that he is not Al Sah-Him. "My name is Oliver Queen," he roars. That moment strongly hints combat between the two.

The finale of season 3, entitled 'My Name is Oliver Queen,' of Arrow is set to air on May 13 on The CW.
