'Agent Carter' Season 2: Hayley Atwell Dishes On Peggy's Family, Future Love Interest

The ABC/Marvel series took their highly anticipated renewal and hit the ground running. It appears the series' writers have had a busy hiatus plotting Peggy's (Hayley Atwell) cross-country journey.

"Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet," ABC teased. "But even as she discovers new friends, a new home -- and perhaps even a new love -- she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

Executive producer Tara Butters previously teased a departure from NYC, indicating that Carter's job could take her across the globe if necessary.

"I still think there's some story to be told in the time period that we're at, but maybe we have the ability to, like I said, bring her to Los Angeles, bring her to London," Butters told Zap2It, acknowledging the future potential for a time jump. "The nice thing about being a spy is that she can pretty much go anywhere."

It is currently unknown if fan favorites like Angie Martinelli (Lyndsy Fonseca) will survive the jump to Los Angeles.
