On Thursday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was officially charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer and battery on an officer.

"Worst case scenario, she could be sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail," TMZ reported, also noting the charges may impact Richards' future with Bravo. "Second, we're told producers have her on the chopping block and the prospect of jail won't help her case."

Richards was arrested on April 16 after exhibiting signs of intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge. While in custody, the reality star and mother of four reportedly kicked a police officer before her release hours later.

“I know I’ve put a huge dent in the work that I’ve worked so hard to build over the last few years,” Richards said during a televised interview with Dr. Phil. “I know that’s going to take time to rebuild. I just want to do the right thing, and I want to be as strong as I can be. I know that me sober I can handle almost anything.”

Regarding Richards' future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her role has yet to be confirmed. However, during the May 14 NBC Upfront, Richards, who is currently in rehab, did not make an appearance.

Kim Richards is due in court on June 11.
