Kim Richards may not have been sober during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' fifth season.

BHPD Releases Statement About Arrest of RHOBH's Kim Richards

Although the former child star insisted she was sober, even after admitting to taking a prescription pain killer she was not prescribed, a new report claims that may not have been the case.

According to TMZ, several sources close to production believe Richards' claims of sobriety during season 5 were "laughable."

Is Bravo Going To Fire Kim Richards From 'RHOBH?'

"Kim would never drink where anyone could see her ... she'd appear sober but then disappear in the restroom and emerge ... well, not sober," the sources alleged.

TMZ claimed Richards' sobriety was first questioned after her dog Kingsley's November attack on her sister Kyle Richards' daughter, Alexia Umansky. According to the site, Kim's camp sent a trainer to her Beverly Hills home in hopes of better taming the dog. However, when they entered the home to asses the situation, the trainer reportedly discovered Kim "was such a mess," and "had to help put her to bed."

Because of Kim's alleged relapse, she is said to be on the chopping block with Bravo.

"There are insurance issues with the show, and serious concerns that if something happens to Kim, Bravo could be on the hook for keeping her on such a contentious, demanding show," TMZ reported on Sunday.
