Many have speculated that following her legal divorce from Kody Brown that Sister Wives star Meri Brown would leave the family and show behind--and a recent tweet seems to suggest she may be seeking an independent life of the family now after all.

Meri Dismisses Rumors?

Fans have consistently wondered if she would leave the family behind, and though there's been no official statements from the Browns or anyone at TLC, Meri's tweets which seem to show some level of dissatisfaction with her life have seemed to hint that she is in fact considering it. Her latest tweet also seems to hint at that as well.

"The devil you don't know might be a pretty swell guy, you just have to take the chance to meet him," she wrote May 14.

Is Meri Hostile To Kody?

It's unclear exactly what she may be referring to in the tweet, but it could be a hint that Meri is talking about possibly meeting someone new--which would mean she is in fact leaving the family behind and moving on with a new life.

However, it is unlikely Meri is actually considering being with someone else, as she later clarified the quote in the comments section after fans appeared confused by what she meant. After one fan told her they thought it was a nice, thought-provoking statement, Meri explained that a friend had said it to her after something else she said to them first--meaning that the tweet alone is out of context--which explains the confusion the fans had.

Sister Wives season 6 will premiere this Fall on TLC.
