Taylor Swift's latest music video packs in a whole bunch of awesome female ninjas played by A-list stars.

The video for "Bad Blood" was unveiled on the evening of May 17 at the Billboard Music Awards and it was worth the wait. The clip features a motley crew of female celebrities from Lena Dunham to Cindy Crawford. To see all of them in feminist mode, in combat and looking stunning makes this one an absolute visual treat. Directed by Joseph Kahn, the video is something like Kill Bill meets the Matrix. Kendrick Lamar, whose name in Swift's fiction is Welvin Da Great, sets his rap to Swift's rhyme.

Lena Dunham plays Lucky Fiori, and is not seen in butt-kicking mode, but she sits back like a female mafia don smoking a cigar and looking very important. Hailee Steinfeld of True Grit fame, portrays The Trinity, and Cara Delevingne is Mother Chucker. There are so many characters that it gets hard to keep track after a point, but watch out for some special cameos by Crawford, Mariska Hargitay and Jessica Alba.

This video is such a tease. How about a movie featuring this all-female ninja crew?

Swift also led the awards, as she swept up a whopping number of wins: Top Female Artist, Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Digital Song, Top Streaming Song and the Billboard Chart Achievement Award.
