It's almost time for Mistresses to return to ABC with some big changes happening.

'Mistresses' Actors Have 'Good Old Fashion Fun' Together

On Monday, Rochelle Aytes who plays April on the drama, took to Twitter to answer a fan's question on what the status of Alyssa Milano's character is. Ever since it was announced that she was leaving the series, it turned out that actress Jennifer Esposito would be coming aboard, but as an entirely new character.

Aytes made this news clear and said that she couldn't wait for everyone to see what happens in the upcoming episodes.

Is Alyssa Milano Returning To 'Mistresses' For Just One Episode?

Esposito will be playing Calista, someone who is supposed to fill the spot that Milano had. In a statement posted on The Hollywood Reporter, Milano explained her decision to not return to the show.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of 'Mistresses' in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," the statement from the actress reads. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."

"I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best," Milano concluded.

Mistresses Season 3 premieres on Thursday, June 18 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
