'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Series Ready To 'Harvest' Longstanding Arcs, Chris O'Donnell & Daniela Ruah Explain

The CBS drama has already filmed two episodes for next fall - the premiere and an episode directed by actor Chris O'Donnell (Callen) - and the O'Donnell helmed installment will include roles for The Originals' Roche and True Blood's Lauren Bowles.

"Such fun working with these great people last week on @NCISLA_CBS," Roche posted on Wednesday alongside a photo of himself, Bowles, O'Donnell, and Daniela Ruah (Kensi).

This won't be the first time behind the camera for O'Donnell. In addition to playing Callen, O'Donnell has pulled double duty twice over the last three years as he directed season 4's "Wanted" and season 6's "SEAL Hunter."

"I will be directing the final episode this year, episode 24, which will air next year," O'Donnell told Huffington Post in April. "I've kind of done that the last few years and that's such a great experience for me. The pre-production part enables me to work with a whole different part of the crew that I never get to see."

It is currently unknown when O'Donnell's episode will air.
