Just two years into her training, Agents of SHIELD's Skye is ready to become a leader in her own right.

The former hacktivist's earth-shattering Inhuman powers have placed her at the forefront of Coulson's (Clarke Gregg) latest project - "Caterpillar", or, as many plans suspect, the group comic book readers know as the Secret Warriors. Despite Skye's (Chloe Bennet) dearth of experience, Bennet believes the heroine's hit-the-ground-running education will makes her more than ready to tackle this new challenge.

"The Skye that I auditioned as is nothing close to the Skye that she has become," Bennet informed Entertainment Weekly. "She's maturing faster than I am. She was a hippie hacker in a van that was anti-S.H.I.E.L.D. and anti-government. Now she works for S.H.I.E.L.D., she's an Inhuman, she has trained and understands why S.H.I.E.L.D. does what they do."

Not everyone will be a fan of Skye's new promotion, however.

"Any time a person grows or steps out of the role that they're perceived to be a part of, it's a problem," Executive producer Jeffery bell said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "What happens when the student reaches the level of master or teacher? There's a lot of good fodder for us next season with that."
