Nashville fans can get ready for some juicy teases on what's going to be happening this fall when the country drama returns for more episodes.

Is Deacon Going To Die For Only So Much Time On 'Nashville?'

On Tuesday, the writers' Twitter page sent viewers an update, saying that they are back to work with more details coming soon.

'Nashville' Gets Renewed For A Fourth Season

There is a lot that can be expected in the fourth season, including where Juliette and Avery's relationship stands as partners and as parents. There is also the matter of what's next in Will's future after coming out as gay. And then, of course, was it Deacon or Beverly who flatlined at the hospital?

In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Dee Johnson pointed out that when someone's heart goes out at the hospital, it doesn't always mean that he or she is dead.

"Just for the record, a flatline doesn't necessarily mean somebody doesn't get resuscitated," Johnson said.

So if it was Deacon, then he could potentially be brought back to life. But if it was Beverly, there is a possibility that she could officially die- and if she does, Deacon might feel survivor's guilt.

"If the scenario you're talking about came to pass, one would certainly have some issues as a result of it," the showrunner explained. "If anybody was going to donate something and they died on the table, certainly that would be pretty hard to live with."

Nashville Season 4 premieres this fall on ABC.
