Is Nashville going to return for more drama in a fourth season?

Chatter On Juliette's Baby Shower On 'Nashville'

The answer is yes! The country music series on ABC will indeed be renewed for a fourth year as announced from several sites, one of them including USA Today.

All the fans can celebrate now that more enticing stories will be taking place. And if the third season ends with giant cliffhanger, that's okay because there will be an answer coming up for that soon.

Did 'Nashville' Have Low Ratings This Season?

A number of other shows on ABC have also been renewed, including Marvel's Agent Carter, Black-ish, Scandal, American Crime and Galavant.

But unfortunately, some newcomers didn't make the cut. Forever and Cristela have both been canceled.

The Nashville storyline currently has a lot of difficult situations taking place, including Juliette's ability to be a parent as well as a music sensation. Based on the promo below, it appears that she and Avery are going to have a rough relationship and Juliette is going to need an intervention.

There is also the matter of Deacon's liver transplant and if that will all work out in the way everyone wants.

In an interview with TV Line, Charles Esten (Deacon) revealed his character's plans on moving in with Rayna.

"He hasn't sold the house yet, but he's definitely in there where he should be with Rayna," the actor said. "So no, we haven't seen some of those moving scenes...we have a scene in Rayna's in-house recording studio there in her house, and you can see Deacon's guitars all around the room. So yeah, it's happening gradually."

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
