Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears (6-1) will look to continue their winning ways when they take on the Tennessee Titans (3-5) in an exciting Week 9 NFL football showdown. The Bears barely escaped with a victory against the pesky Carolina Panthers in Week 8. However, Chicago will once again be heavily favored against the Titans, who have been dealt with a slew off injuries on the offensive side of the football.

On a positive note, Tennessee RB Chris Johnson has been performing much like his old self, which could serve to spark the Titans lagging attack. In four out of his last five games, Johnson has rushed for over 90 yards, which includes a 195-yard, two touchdown showcase against the Buffalo Bills. Either way, the rusher may be facing his toughest challenge yet against the Bears No. 1 ranked defense in the league against the run.

Despite their overall offensive success, pass protection has been the one issue for Chicago's this season. The team's weakness was exploited in their matchup against the Panthers as Cutler had consistent pressure buying time in the pocket.

On the defensive side for the Titans, the situation couldn't be more bleaker. The team is tied for 28th in the NFL with only 11 sacks in eight games. To top if off, Tennessee has given up a hefty 140 yards plus per game against the run. Although LB Colin McCarthy has been playing banged up, the rest of the secondary must raise their level of play nonetheless.

On a positive note for the Titans, Mike Martin and Akeem Ayers have shown their unlimited potential. However, the defense still appears considerably outmatched against Cutler and his offensive weaponry.
