Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may have declined to reprise their role as Michelle Tanner on the upcoming Fuller House, but that doesn't mean their character will be a taboo subject on the series.

Bob Saget Won't Force Olsen Twins Into Doing 'Fuller House'

At the premiere of Insidious 3, Jodie Sweetin, who portrayed their big sister Stephanie on the show and is confirmed to be returning, revealed that even though the famous twins wouldn't join in on the reunion, it didn't mean Michelle wouldn't be discussed on the show.

"The Michelle character is still going to have a presence," Sweetin said. "It's not like we're not talking about her. I love and support [Mary-Kate and Ashley], and I think we're going to be just fine."

Bob Saget Signs On To 'Fuller House'

Sweetin also revealed that the show will begin production next month, and it's going to be a big moment when she, Candace Cameron Bure (DJ), Andrea Barber (Kimmy), Bob Saget (Danny), Dave Coulier (Joey), John Stamos (Jesse) and Lori Loughlin (Becky) all arrive on set again.

"We first started talking about this in like 2007, 2008 about trying to do some sort of a spinoff and kind of bringing the characters back. This has been a long time in the making," she said. "I had kind of given up for periods of time where I'm like, 'It's not going happen!' But we pitched it to Netflix and they were so excited about it."

Fuller House debuts next year.
