Jon Hamm might be considered one of the sexiest men in the world, but according to his former student Ellie Kemper, she just thought he was "old." The Office alumni admits that unlike many other students in her teacher Jon Hamm's English class back in high school, she didn't have a crush on him.

According to Digital Spy on Friday, Hamm was Kemper's English teacher at the John Burroughs School in St. Louis while she was a teenager.

She said, "I was 14 when he taught my theatre class in ninth grade. You know when you're in school he seemed so old. Do you know what I mean? You're a student and he is a teacher. It was more like he was an uncle. It was avuncular, I think is the word. He was a great teacher."

Kemper added that Hamm was very passionate about his teaching subjects and the craft of acting.

She added, "I feel like he was the youngest of the teachers so students would think they were pals with him, but I think he was very serious about teaching, very serious about there being a distinction and him being in a position of authority."

What's more, Hamm still holds a royal title from his hometown.

"He is a good guy. Everyone who comes from our school and tries to break into show business, he is always helping them and responding to them: The Prince of St Louis," Kemper added.
