Divergent sequel Insurgent hit theaters in March and it has now amassed some nominations at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards 2015 happening in August.

Veronica Roth Discusses 'Biggest Change' In 'Insurgent'

Insurgent is up for Choice Movie: Action/Adventure, which its predecessor took home during Teen Choice 2014. Insurgent is up against Furious 7, Kingsman: The Secret Service, San Andreas, The Maze Runner and Tracers.

It seems likely that Insurgent and The Maze Runner will face off since they were both pretty popular movies with the teen demographic.

Then in the Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure category Ansel Elgort received a nomination for his work in Insurgent, which he's delighted about.

"Big thanks to all of you nominating me for a teen choice award again!" the actor beamed on Twitter Tuesday.

Elgort earned a bunch of nominations last year at TCA 2014 and he won them all. Most of his nominations were for his work in The Fault in Our Stars, but his award for Choice Movie Breakout Star was for both of his roles between The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent. For Choice Movie Breakout Star Elgort was nominated against his Divergent costar Theo James as well as Elizabeth Olsen for her work in Godzilla, Nicola Peltz's work in Transformers: Age of Extinction and Wyatt Russell who was in 22 Jump Street.

Elgort happens to be nominated against his The Divergent Series costar once again, yet it's just for a different award. James won in the Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure category last year for Divergent. The two Insurgent stars are up against Dylan O'Brien from The Maze Runner, Taylor Lautner from Tracers and Furious 7's Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

The award could certainly go to any of these actors!

Lastly, the female lead of The Divergent Series, Shailene Woodley is up for Choice Movie Actress: Action/Adventure once again. She won last year for Insurgent's predecessor. This year she's up against Alexandra Daddario from San Andreas, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez from Furious 7, Kaya Scodelario from The Maze Runner as well as Maggie Grace from Taken 3.
