The third day of E3 conferences will get underway soon, with Nintendo on deck to deliver its announcements.

New Destiny Expansion Revealed At E3

Unlike the other console makers and publishers, Nintendo has eschewed the traditional keynote speech for a pre-prepared live stream called Nintendo Direct. The publisher has been running these now for several years, and this year's is set for 9 a.m. Pacific, 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The Twitch stream below will host the event when it goes live, and you can also visit Nintendo's site.

There isn't much telling what we'll see from Nintendo, this time around. The publisher has some exciting games in the works, but it also already told us we would not be seeing the next Zelda at E3 this year. There will no doubt be some surprises and new game announcements that are impossible to anticipate, but today largely remains a mystery.

Super Smash Bros. Roy & Ryu DLC Released

Even relying on news for current releases is questionable, as Nintendo held a Super Smash Bros.-specific video event on the weekend already. This gave us all the news about DLC plans for the game, as well as new amiibo releases. There could be new figures that aren't related to the fighting title, too, but it seems like slim pickings to begin with here. Hopefully Nintendo comes out with some surprise game announcements, which may include a surprise long-awaited sequel or two, but it's all speculation at this point. There were some rumors and leaks for just about every other publisher, but it's relatively quiet on the Nintendo front heading in to today's stream--tune in and found out what's in store.
