How Does Alyssa Milano Feel About Her Character's Replacement On 'Mistresses?'

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter posted an interview with showrunner Rina Mimoun who opened up on the possibility of Milano making a guest appearance on the series in the future. Her character Savi has been written out of the show ever since the actress announced that she would not be coming back, but will she be gone forever?

"We like to answer this question somewhat cryptically in that Savi is very much a strong presence, especially in the two-hour season premiere," Mimoun noted. "And since she is the sister of one of the main characters, she'll always be part of the fabric of the show- whether or not Alyssa is part of the fabric of the show."

Alyssa Milano Opens Up On Her Possible Return To 'Mistresses'

As of now, it seems unclear if Milano will come back or not. But if she ever decides to reprise her role on the show, it'll probably be a while before anyone sees her since the series premiere showed that the character is traveling out of the country. When she caught her sister Joss making out with her ex-husband on the beach, she cut her off as her sister, leaving questions if Joss will ever be forgiven.

Mistresses airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
