The New York Knicks (6-0) continue to turn heads with their momentous start.  The team will look to remain flawless when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies (6-1) on Friday night.  However, if the Knicks will go on to stay undefeated, they must snap the Grizzlies' 14-game regular season home winning streak.

Overall, both basketball squads have been nothing short of impressive.  While New York will attempt to continue their best start in 19 seasons, Memphis will aim to do the same with a team record-breaking seventh straight win.

Trailing by 12 points in the fourth quarter against San Antonio on Thursday, the Knicks went on a 27-11 run to oust the Spurs by a 104-100 margin.

The Spurs' point total was the most that New York has given up thus far in the season.  It was also the first time the Knicks prevailed by less than 10 points.

Nonetheless, the win over the usually dominant San Antonio was a great accomplishment.

"It shows me this team is for real," stated head coach Mike Woodson, according to ESPN.

New York will look to tie their 1993-94 opening season winning streak, which was at seven games.  If they take out the Grizzlies, it would also be their first 4-0 start on the road since 1996-97.

Despite the Knicks' storybook success, Memphis will be no walk in the park.  Their only loss was in their opener to the Los Angeles Clippers 101-92.  The Grizzlies have also racked up back-to-back wins versus last season's NBA finalists.  Memphis took out Miami on Sunday by a 104-86 margin and then Oklahoma City by a score of 107-97 on Wednesday.
