The cast and crew of Longmire are nearing the end of production on season 4 in New Mexico. It is a bittersweet feeling considering it isn't known if a fifth season is being planned.

Longmire has had quite the year, after being cancelled last August by A&E after three seasons. The show was actually the highest rated scripted show on the network, and its fans launched a big Twitter campaign to save it. Luckily, Netflix swooped in back in November and renewed it a for a 10-episode fourth season.

Longmire season 4 is set for release in the fall on Netflix, though the streaming site has not yet announced a specific release date.
