Many of the actors behind Longmire have taken to Twitter to reveal that season 4 is done with production in New Mexico. This means that all 10 episodes of the season, which will be released exclusively on Netflix this fall, are complete and heading to post-production.

Here are some messages and photos from the cast regarding the end of season 4 production.

As Phillips alluded to, this does not signal the end of Longmire as a series. While Netflix only ordered one season, the show's dedicated fanbase will come out in droves to watch the fourth season and if numbers are high, a fifth season would seem likely.

Longmire has had quite a year since last August, when the show was canceled by A&E after three seasons despite being the top rated scripted show on the network. The show's fanbase launched a big Twitter campaign that ultimately led to Netflix picking it up.

Longmire season 4 is expected to be released in the fall on Netflix, though the streaming site has yet to announce a specific date.
