Ron Pearlman is looking to reignite Hellboy, and at least one member of the the film's orginal cast is picking up the call.

The benevolant demon hasn't graceed theaters since 2008's Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, and the man behind the goliath is hoping fan pressure will move Revolution Studios to rekindle the franchise before he becomes old and gray.

"Anybody out there wanna see #HellboyIII as much as I do?" Pearlman tweeted in early July. "Let's get this muthaf-cka trending, y'all! Let's end the trilogy; we earned it!"

While visiting San Diego Comic-Con with TNT's Falling Skies, fellow castmember Doug Jones (Abraham Sapien) discussed the proactive tweet and the ensuing firestorm.

"Oh my gosh, did he get a firestorm going on the webernet or what?" Jones laughed. "It's Ron Pearlman's way of saying the studio isn't jumping to it yet, so let's show them that the audience is there, they're waiting, and they would love to have a Hellboy 3... it was just a way to show the studio the audience is there, they're holding money in their hand, they're ready to see part 3, so can we please make it."
