As reports claim that Kandi Burruss could be the new queen bee on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta amid NeNe Leakes departure, Leakes herself weighed in on what she thinks about Burruss.

During the special 100th episode that aired Sunday, NeNe made it clear that she doesn’t think Kandi is exciting enough to bring the drama.
“Of all the new girls that have come on the show, I’ve never connected with Kandi. I would never hang out with her in real life. She’s not my kind of girl. She’s not somebody that I find fabulous. I don’t find her anything. Like, I’m bored.”

Interestingly enough, next to NeNe, Kandi is the longest running cast member on the show as she joined in the sophomore season. Still, it’s no secret that she and NeNe have bumped heads since Kandi received her peach. So NeNe’s comments aren’t too surprising.
The latest blowup that they had came during the reunion special that aired earlier this year. Kandi was wary of NeNe’s intentions for befriending Phaedra Parks after her husband Apollo Nida faced legal issues and was sent to federal prison. Phaedra, who has been the closest to Kandi on the cast and even stood as a bridesmaid in her wedding, called out Kandi for not being supportive during her tough time. She also commended NeNe for being there for her more than any of the other co-stars. Kandi didn’t like this and wondered what NeNe’s real intentions were. See them talk about it in the clip below.
