He has at least made his daughter believe he wants to get to know her and understand why she became a woman, but Julius (Obba Babatunde) will have a harder time convincing everyone else he has a genuine interest in getting to know her on The Bold and the Beautiful.  

Julius Is Questioned About His Change Of Heart

Both his other daughter, Nicole (Reign Edwards) and Maya's (Karla Mosley) boyfriend Rick (Jacob Young) will be skeptical after Maya tells them how her father not only embraced her, but referred to her as a female for the first time before indicating he wanted to try and know her.

"It would be really great to have a relationship with him again," Maya says to Rick in a preview clip for the Wednesday, July 15 episode.

However, Rick may remain skeptical, and as a result, could seek out Julius to find out what he's really up to. But, Rick will be surprised when Julius turns things around on him and begins questioning him about his own intentions with Maya, in the same way a normally protective father would when it came to the man in his daughter's life.

"I want to know what kind of man wants to make a life with a woman like Maya," Julius says to Rick in the clip.

His apparent concerns about his daughter's well-being in her relationship could convince Rick to think the same way Maya does, and he may suddenly believe Julius genuinely does want to get to know Maya as well.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
