She has been struggling with the news that she is pregnant, and now, as she prepares to make a potentially shocking decision, Abigail (Kate Mansi) will find herself discouraged from doing so by Hope (Kristian Alfonso) on Days of Our Lives.  

Abigail Learns She's Pregnant

Abigail learned she was actually pregnant, but would need to wait a few weeks before she could get a paternity test performed to determine if Chad (Billy Flynn) or Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was the father. As a result, she may contemplate coming clean so she doesn't have to continue hiding her huge secret for much longer. However, Hope will encourage her to keep the secret a bit longer--and for good reason.

Hope has been investigating both Ben and Chad's fathers, who are both known for their criminal activities. She may encourage Abigail not to come clean to Ben about having cheated on him with Chad because of the damage it could cause--specifically to herself and her unborn baby. Hope is trying to figure out where she can get proof that Clyde (James Read) was behind Sonny's (Freddie Smith) stabbing, but knows he was responsible, and is therefore dangerous.

Abigail Reacts Badly To Seeing Chad & Zoe Together

Likewise, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) is an equally dangerous opponent. However, if the news were to get to him that Chad may have fathered a baby with Abigail, he could be delighted. He has been actively trying to get his son and his ex-girlfriend back together for some time because of some kind of scheme he is clearly running--and learning of a pregnancy could be the ammunition he needs to get exactly what he is after.
