Monty Brinson may have just days to live, but he isn't showing it.

Kim Richards Has 38 Days Sober, Looked At 'RHOBH' As A Job While Others Were Seeking Fame

While the ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is currently fighting cancer, he's kept fans in the loop with his health on Instagram, and this morning, he shared a positive message.

"It's about 3 am and just here thinking," Brinson began. "Just a few things on my mind and I will always say how it is. I'm speaking from my heart. The quotes I leave are not for me but for everyone else that might be going through a hard time even if its not life threatening."

Earlier this month, as Richards received treatment for alcohol addiction in rehab, she and Brinson reunited, and posed for a couple of 4th of July photos. Since then, Richards has left rehab after reaching 30 days of sobriety.

Meanwhile, Brinson's fight with cancer continues.

"My heart has been touched from all the kindness love and prayers from loved ones and from people I've never met," he contined to fans. "That's helped me fight my own situation which I've accepted with a positive attitude. I'm living a normal life. Enjoying everyday.. I've over come ever obstacle that's been thrown at me and I thank each of you for that from the bottom of my heart. The stairway to heaven is going to wait a long time for me I'm a fighter."
