One Direction fans have been on quite the emotional rollercoaster as of lately given the latest gossip bomb to drop being about oldest member Louis Tomlinson expecting a child.

Louis Tomlinson Tweets Amid Fatherhood Rumors, But It's Not What Fans Want To Hear

There have been various sources claiming the gossip is completely true and other sources claiming it's totally false, but the boy band's boss Simon Cowell seems to have proven that Tomlinson is definitely with a child on the way.

Over the weekend The Sun ran an interview with the music mogul discussing Tomlinson's impending fatherhood and the future of the band.

Louis Tomlinson Will Not Be A Father?

Cowell told the 23-year-old singer to "man up" in regard to the baby news. His baby's mama is American Briana Jungwirth, whom he has become pretty good friends with in the last few months.

"You're fortunate because you're in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that," Cowell further dished on what he told Tomlinson.

Cowell doesn't think this situation will tarnish the band's image.

"He didn't kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it's a plus, not a negative," Cowell explained.

The band is looking to go on a hiatus after they release their fifth studio album according to Cowell.

Cowell's input aside, it looks like Tomlinson's bandmate Liam Payne acknowledged all the happenings in 1D's world as of lately, including Zayn Malik's Twitter spat with Naughty Boy.

In the tweet he referenced it mentioned "Louis: becomes a dad" so it seems like this is his confirmation of that as well. Plus, he might be engaged to his girlfriend Sophia Smith since that was also mentioned in the tweet he referenced. His reaction was laughter though ("ahahahaha") so people can make what they will of it.
